Inspired by a field study trip to Egypt where we visited the Egyptian Museum of Cairo. The colours are inspired by old Egyptian gems, and the concept are inspired by the way abilities from the different animals used as ornaments on furniture, were believed to be transferred to user. Our little chair is part of a family of chairs. They were each given a different personality, which has dictated their shape, expression and the way you sit on them.

First prototype of the chair was produced at a factory in Damietta and was further developed, when we came home to Denmark. Designed together with Emilie Holm.
